Welcome to Around the Bend: Swift River Community News
Hello and thank you for stopping by! I’m Jennie, the owner of Swift River Cast and Paddle. My family that includes Christian and our boys — Caleb, Connor, and Brandon — are the heart of this little river adventure we call home. We live, work, and play right here along the Swift River, and for us, it’s more than just a place to paddle or cast a line — it’s where our roots sink deep and our neighbors feel like family.
Through our small business, we’ve been lucky to share this beautiful stretch of rural Massachusetts with locals and visitors alike — helping folks reconnect with nature, slow down, and remember the simple joy of being together outside. But as much as we love guiding people down the river, we also believe the true current that keeps a community strong is connection — real connection, neighbor to neighbor.
That’s why we’re launching Around the Bend: Swift River Community News. We want to create a place where our community can come together beyond the water — to share stories, local happenings, ideas, and maybe even a good laugh or two. No politics here — just people, place, and the everyday moments that bind us.
Our hope is that this page becomes a landing spot for everyone who calls this corner of rural Massachusetts home — whether you’ve lived here forever or just drifted in. We believe that when we know each other, we can show up for each other — and that’s the kind of river we want to paddle together.
So welcome — grab a cup of coffee, read what’s new, and if you feel inspired, share your own news Around the Bend. Let’s keep this community flowing strong. Reach out anytime at info@swiftrivercastandpaddle.com!
